For this first Zoom meeting of our Winter series perhaps members would like to talk about the boating adentures they enjoyed over the summer?

We are continuing with Zoom meetings over the coming winter months since they offer the only opportunity for many of our widely dispersed membership to ‘meet’. Different days of the week suit different people so we propose to hold these meetings on different days of the week, that way the dates should suit most members for at least some of the meetings. All these meetings start at 7:30pm London time, unless otherwise announced. We normally use a standard Zoom link which will be on our website at ayrs.org/events and will also be announced to members by email. If we can, we will have prepared presentations for some of the meetings but when no such presentation is available the meetings will follow the format of a chat/discussion at a sailing club bar – so far we have always found topics to talk about and the main difficulty has been closing the meeting within a reasonable period – we aim for one hour.
