AYRS Zoom Meeting – A Small Catamaran and I-Wood

A last minute change of plan for the AYRS April Zoom meeting – we now have two members who would like to give short presentations:

Giuseppe Gigliobianco will tell us about a small catamaran he built and Chris Scott about ‘I-Wood’ so I sugest we make these the main subject for this meeting rather than a discussion about the AC75 which was previously announced on this website.

I-Wood is Chris’s concept for a way to use timber that makes best use of smaller logs and is suitable for easy assembly from pre-cut kits of timber parts.  Chris may also include applications to wooden boat building and he also has ideas for building vertical axis wind turbines – ‘Squirrel Cage Power Poles’.
