Catamaran hulls in search of a new home

Post by ejcchapman »

CALLIOPE and CERES hulls (plus some other parts) are available to anyone who can make use of them. Calliope was a 16' hydrofoil catamaran that had some success at Weymouth Speed Week in the 1990s. The hulls were made from tortured 3mm plywood to a semi-circular cross section and are quite light. Ceres was a larger, 19' version that again did well at Weymouth but her hulls are much heavier professionally made GRP/foam sandwich. Despite being overweight she flew well and the hulls are probably indestructible.
Sadly the boats are incomplete but I do have some crossbeams and the trampolines.
Stored in a coach house since last used (flown) over 20 years ago.
