London Boat Show

Post by Fredthecharlie »

I visited it today and the show seems to have been brightened up somewhat. When I arrived at about 11.30am it was fairly quiet but by lunch time it was much busier. The layout occupying the South Hall was more open without the central barrier of a large motor boat stand but my general impression was that power craft outnumbered sailing craft however there were plenty of most sizes to be seen. I also felt that there were less chandlers exhibiting than usual but there were bargains to be found. It was interesting enough for me to want to revisit and look at some particular boats and equipment.

If I've done it correctly you should see some beautiful woodwork and a neat display of classic fittings
