Notes:

Previous Minutes: The draft minutes of the 52nd AGM are on the AYRS website at http://ayrs.org/management/AGM_2016_Draft_Minutes.pdf.

Chairman & Treasurer’s Reports and Accounts: These will also be found on the AYRS website (in due course).

Officers and Committee Elections: Sheila Fishwick has already resigned both as Vice-Chairman and Secretary, and has proposed that Fred Ball replace her as Vice-Chairman. We need a new Honorary Secretary!
Under our rules, the Editor (Simon Fishwick), and Committee Members Fred Ball, Kim Fisher and Tim Glover have also completed their current terms of office. They are all willing to serve again, although Simon would prefer someone else suitably skilled to take over as Editor as he is finding it difficult to give the job the time it needs. He is willing to continue on the Committee and manage the website. Any nominations should be submitted, preferably by email, to the acting Secretary as soon as possible. (Email: hon.sec@ayrs.org)

Reporting Accountant: The Committee propose that Robin Fautley be re-appointed.

The Future of AYRS: We need to improve our distribution of articles and we need more members to write reports on their activities and items of interest; new theories, results of tests hints and tips repairs and responses to articles etc.

Any Other Business: Any items for formal consideration are to be submitted by 24th December 2016, but items for informal discussion may be notified to the Secretary up to two days before the meeting. Email: hon.sec@ayrs.org
